Employees of Walgreens in Kannapolis are providing free flu shots to patients at the Community Free Clinic
This flu shot season, young children, older adults, and people with preexisting conditions are more at risk of hospitalization if they get the flu so should consider a flu shot. Many of the patients at the Community Free Clinic have preexisting conditions, so we are grateful for this Flu Clinic. Employees of the Walgreens in Kannapolis came to the Community Free Clinic on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, with almost 100 shots for patients.
This is so important to help keep our patients healthy. Without the ability to get health insurance, and income that doesn’t allow for healthcare decision, our patients will often choose to forgo shots and other preventive care.
