Grace is the only Nurse Practitioner on staff at the Community Free Clinic. She graduated from John Tyler Community College in 1982 with an ADN, then the Medical College of Virginia (VCU) in 1985 with a BSN. She attended Nova SE University and obtained her MS in Health Services Administration (business) in 1999. She obtained her MSN, FNP in 2004 from UNC Charlotte working simultaneously on her PhD in public health at Sacramento University which she obtained in 2006.
From 1967-1971 she was a volunteer with Catholic Relief in Saigon and Cholon, Republic of Viet Nam caring for child rape victims and children of victims of rape. Grace has spent over 40 years dedicated to the care and welfare of the underprivileged, Veterans, homeless and children with food insecurity. She states “I intend to spend the rest of my life doing the same”. In her spare time she travels the country with her husband Joseph Galloway, a famous author and her service dog Jacques.
